      nice people

decoration was not great and confort was not great neither

Let us pack up some boxes in their lounge. They carried our suitcases up th three flights.

Parking is bad, secure lot is several blocks away. We are antique dealer, wanted to pack boxes, drink some wine and eat some food we had bought at market. We were told we had to buy wine from them and could not eat downstairs or in our room.

Very French! Old and not spoiled by modernising. Old door latches old timber. Comfortable like a favourite pair of slippers. Outbuildings in the garden create delightful views, perspectives and surprise corners. Lovely colours. Sunbeams through the tree branches. Delightful village centre with cafes and the Mill Restaurant at the far end of the village was the best dining experience we can remember.

The Mistral but that's no one's fault.

A charming hotel. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast in the lovely courtyard was a real treat. The location was fine--a short walk to catch a bus to Avignon.

Been there before 18 years ago and wanted to visit the village and friends who live near by. The entire family were so delightful, helpful and gracious....we felt 'very spoilt'.

The hotel had an old world atmosphere with friendly staff. It was located away from the main and busy area of Avignon in a more relaxed but interesting village. It was clean and well located to enjoy the many nearby castles and close to many resturants and eateries.

No coffee making facilities in th rooms. The stairs are narrow and steep for carrying luggage

Beautiful, quirky hotel. Location in a charming, quiet village with great food, bags of culture, within easy reach of more touristy Avignon for the days you want to do that sort of stuff (and why wouldn't you?). V friendly staff, a lovely garden for the evenings where they serve local wine and olives.

This is a delightfully renovated older property, but on some nights could do with air conditioning - but this is the South of France, after all: the heat is part of the experience.

The communal rooms are lovely with pleasant court yard.

The bedrooms range dramatically in terms of size, but when I expressed my disappointment at my room, I was told I had purchased the cheapest room. This is not mentioned on Booked.net. At 89euros per night excluding breakfast I was surprised to hear that. The room was also far too warm, with no air conditioning. Was offered a fan which circulates warm air. When I requested a cooler room, I Was told to open the window...I Was rather disappointed at this as I was told the hotel has only half full. When I again requested another room, I was then offered a ground floor room, which was much cooler, but it was already 9pm and check out was at 11am the next day so I settled for our hot stuffy room with noisy fan and open window. Breakfast not included, and costing 10 euros per person, which was nice. The communal rooms are nice, but only go if you are happy to take the chance on a room lottery. You are also not allowed to consume your own food or drink in the communal areas, which is pretty annoying when your room is a furnace. I was there before and got a fabulous room, and I have recommended the hotel to at least 7 different couples whom then stayed there, which was why I went back. After this experience I would not stay there again.

      Could not stay longer.

The location was excellent and the hotel was very original and a little quirky

The room my older children had was on the top floor (ours was on the 1st) and was very hot, making sleeping very difficult and uncomfortable. We put the larger fan from our room in there but it made very little diffrence. An air con unit was needed.
